💠 single color glaze 💠

The first examples of traditional tiling date back to the 6th century AH, which were tiles made of mud with a coating of Chinese paste. In this technique, the surface of the tile is covered with a single color glaze of cream, turquoise blue or azure.

💠 Enamel tiles 💠

In traditional tiling enamel technique, tiles are painted with slime designs, curved lines, flowers and leaves and birds. The use of enamel technique reached its peak in the middle of the 7th century and it was used in religious places.

💠 Zarin Fam traditional tile work 💠

One of the traditional tiling techniques is Zarin Fam technique. The main characteristic of Zarin Fam technique is the use of special colors such as gold and green. The types of tiles that are used in the Zarin Fam technique are in the form of studs, half-columns, embossed patterns, and eight-pointed stars.

💠Meraq technique of traditional tiling

Maraq technique or flower and bete also became popular from the 7th century of Hijri. In this technique, the tiles are first broken into small and large pieces and then they are put together based on pre-prepared designs and connected with grout.

💠 traditional Moaghli tiling 💠

Moaqli tiling is also created by putting small pieces of tiles together, just like the mosaic tiling. In this technique, the tiles are cut in the form of square, rectangle, rhombus and triangle geometric shapes.
These pieces of bricks are used either in the facade as a combination next to the bricks or by stacking them together to depict letters and Expressions use rational lines.

💠 Moqrans technique 💠

Moghrans technique is one of the most beautiful and complex traditional tiling techniques. Examples of the Moqrans technique can be seen especially in the domes of mosques, where the dome has a honeycomb shape and is raised in layers.
